MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES
Here, you will find collections of my favorite motivational quotes which keep me going through the years, I hope it relates to you and someday you will see them as your own motivation too!
A hungry stomach, empty wallet, and broken heart, those were the best thing that defines me before I encountered the word "dream," my mom was a Barangay police and she only wages thrice your favorite Starbucks caramel macchiato in a month, yet she manages to keep my sister and me alive, having an unsure future, but with determined hearts.
During my elementary days, I smelled my classmates' yummy, delicious foods while looking at my weeklong viand, eggs, and if I had a "very good" stamp from my teachers I got extra hotdogs. I only go to malls during my birthday and if I was lucky enough I watch a movie once only per year only to celebrate my birthday.
Lucky you if you have your father, me I have none, he decided to leave us when I was just three, when I only knew was to eat, play and go along. I was young when I realized all of this, like most of you there are things I also dreamt of doing when I was young, having a remote control toy, Gameboy, PSP, etc. Owning my bicycle and having enough money to buy my favorite chips. I was young when I had the greatest lessons of my life which opened my eyes to the reality of life, I become eager, bold, and determined.
As I climb the ladder of success, I realize my small wins, and my dreams are now becoming a reality. My mom used to add water to one serving of noodles just so it could suffice for us 3, but now I can take them out to take delicious ramen, we do not need to turn off our refrigerator because there is only water in it, now our freezer had meats and foods already, my sisters' food will not be egg over and over again the same as me for I have given her enough allowance to eat the food I wanted during my time.

These are just some of the lessons life taught me I hope it boosts you as you traverse your journey! You have what it takes, but most of all the most important are courage and the way you perceive things, Be positive and never give up!
"Mumo" "Boy Kanin" these are the names I've been called in my place. They used to call me that name because I eat a lot, I remember going to funerals to eat biscuits and drink juice, going to a birthday party which I am not invited at, and always asking for extra rice. It was not just a name it become a branding, selected people only calls me by my name .

My mother would call me "inutil" or "walang silbi" for this is the time I become stubborn, not realizing things, especially what is going on with our lives, and our family, I spend my time mostly with friends, where I learned to drink alcohol because for that moment I could forget all the struggles I had in life. I also used to steal money from my parents to suffice my addiction to computer games.

After all, upon waking up and realizing I needed to change, not just for myself but for my family, realizing that I am the only man, My mom getting old and my younger sister needed more from me, things had changed after my Senior Highschool year, I dream, believe and make it happen.
Entering the Philippine National Police Academy, traveling the road less traveled, and achieving the goal I ever wanted was the turning point of my life, the term "mum" "boy kanin", "inutil," and "walang kwenta" was never heard again, "Sir" "General" "idol" "Mark" "Gab" "Sir Mikel" was all the names called upon me and it all made a difference.

You, what would you like your name to be remembered of?

Have you experienced being rejected? Me, alot, let me tell you a story of a man who tried to go along with a group of people playing clash of clans and get rejected.
There was a time this man watched and heard a lot of stories about clash of clans, a group of teenagers was playing the game and suddenly this man approached to them and keeps asking questions about the game, because of their focus, no one replied to that man. The man leaves and after going home, he realized why he was rejected or ignored. This man was ignored because he had no capacity to play the game , no cellphone to use and not enough money to play on a computer shop.
That man was me, I clearly remembered that moment but this is more than just a clash of clans, it was about the feeling that drives me to be motivated, that simple rejection made me want to buy a cellphone, but how can I buy a cellphone if I had no job,? how could I afford gems in the game if I had no money for them?
After fully motivating myself I turned the table, that man who cannot afford to play the game can now play it even better play better games, and motivate more people. It is more than just a game it is the motivation that drives you from where you have been and where you are now.
You, what motivates you?

People in my place would go up on me and tell me that it was hard, that entering the Academy and Graduating was hard, and they keep comparing me to "Kuya Noel." (PCOL Noel Sandoval) My uncle used to tell me that, rather than motivating me to do so, I did not take it as negative, rather I pursue, dreaming was not enough if you wanted to succeed you have to wake up and do it.
I prepared myself, physically, and mentally because they tell me it was hard to do. They were right after I entered it was hard, nevertheless, I could say I survived, Those scorching heat of the sun, the cold weather breeze, 10 counts, and all the spices of cadetship was a challenge, a challenge they believe I wouldn't surpass, As I write this I was on the edge of my dream, I am almost done, and that "Kuya Noel" they idolize will be "Kuya Noel" and "Sir Mikel"
Things may not go as you expected, and the people who are closest to you might contradict or challenge you but what matters is how you react, prove, and make them believe, right now those people who told me I can't, can't say anything, I am not mad to them, rather I am very grateful that during the time I dream, they told me on my dream that it is hard and I can't, so I woke up and prove them that it is hard, but it will be worth it and I remove the "t" in cant, now I can and I did.
How about you, are you going through the such problem? wake up, and prove to them you can!
This is a great motto to live by! It means striving to be the best version of yourself, even if other people don't believe you can. It encourages you to set your own goals, work hard, and make the most of your potential. It's a reminder that you are capable of great things, and it's up to you to make them happen.
This phrase encourages us to be the best version of ourselves and to strive to reach our fullest potential. It reminds us that we are capable of achieving great things, even if others don’t think we can. It also reminds us that there is no limit to what we can achieve if we put in the effort and dedication to make our dreams a reality. Additionally, it reminds us to stay true to ourselves and never give up on our dreams, no matter how challenging the journey may be. Ultimately, this phrase serves as a powerful reminder that we should never let anyone’s opinion of us keep us from becoming the person we want to be.
From all the quotes I saved, this was my favorite, I had an underclass in Philippine National Police Academy whom I remembered took the exam the same day I took it in 2019, 2 years later, I encountered him trying to pass the exam for the second time around, We had a short minute, during that talk, I motivated him because the time I took the exam no one did it for me.
It was a normal encounter between cadet-applicant talk, but what an unusual encounter is meeting him inside the Academy "Sir dahil sayo nakapasa ako, sinunod ko ang sinabi mo " melts my heart and made me proud that I inspired a person and that I was part of them achieving their goals in life.
Sometimes a simple talk to someone can do a lot, what more if you motivate them, if you have time to talk and motivate others, do it. Truly the happiness you will feel is genuine, it is more than winning in some contest or game.
As I reflect to myself that I inspired people, I become more talkative not in a nonsense way but if I talk and I sense that they need motivation I did the "pep talk" way I learned in the academy, it works all the time.
Did somebody bump into you and told you that you are part of their success? If none, maybe it's the time you talk and do something. Words are powerful, use them.
