SQUAD LEADERS TIME/ KABAYANS TIME

Squad leader time is when the upperclass gives "pep talks" and also when the squad leader assesses a cadet's academic performance, tactical proficiency, and general well-being. It is also a good opportunity for the lowerclassmen to open up about their issues and solicit advice from the upperclassmen. To raise the spirits of the cadets, especially the plebes, this custom includes a generous dinner for the entire squad that is different from the food from the messhall.

However, despite having a similar nature, Kabayans Time is distinct because the cadets involved are those from the same area (ex: ours having cadets from Region 4 because I came from Batangas, a part of Region 4 )
