PLEBEHOOD

Plebehood, the transitional period between civilian life and cadet life, is nearly universally regarded as the hardest stage of cadetship. Traditionally. Where the scorching sun shines, the break period begins on May 1. Ours begins on May 4, 2019. It was a time of change for all of us. During this time, cadets form the new cadet battalion and receive training from tactical officers and the "new cadet detail" or "plebe detail." Following the 45-day break, cadets are formally welcomed into the cadet corps during the incorporation rites ceremony.
